About the position

As a Process Integration Engineer at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in the startup, development, and optimization of processes aimed at enhancing product quality and reliability. Your primary responsibilities will include improving process yield, reducing costs, increasing productivity, and managing risks associated with manufacturing operations. You will be tasked with identifying, diagnosing, and resolving assembly process-related issues by employing methodologies such as failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC/FDC. In addition to troubleshooting, you will coordinate and execute evaluations and optimizations of processes, equipment, and materials, implementing necessary changes at various process steps. Your role will also involve leading and participating in initiatives focused on continuous yield improvement and cost reduction. You will validate and disseminate new process baseline qualifications, which may include new processes, tools, and materials for new product introductions. Furthermore, you will support site-to-site portability and manage audits of material suppliers to ensure they meet quality, cost, and risk management objectives. Your responsibilities will also extend to supporting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal and external audits

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Material Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Internship experience preferred
