As a Process Integration Engineer at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate, and advance faster than ever. In this position, you will collaborate with other process and equipment engineers to start up, develop, and optimize processes aimed at improving product quality and reliability. Your work will focus on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and risk management, as well as resolving manufacturing line issues. You will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving process-related problems by applying methodologies such as failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC. Your role will involve coordinating and executing process, equipment, and material evaluations and optimizations to implement changes at various process steps. You will lead and participate in yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives, handle new process baseline qualifications, and manage relationships with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk management objectives. In addition, you will own a portion of the product manufacturing process flow or device-related projects during the yield ramp and sustaining phases in Fab 6. It will be essential to ensure that the processes are set up correctly to match sister fabs for inline and end-of-line results, thereby improving process control and yields to enable benchmark yield curves and optimize process flow for the best product performance at the lowest cost. You will set up experiments using Design of Experiments (DOE), monitor the progress of changes, and conduct statistical analysis of results. Maintaining or creating detailed documentation of product/process information, including lessons learned, module characterizations, and risk assessments, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will publish module updates and key project status updates, work closely with sister sites and the R&D PI/Process team to identify product matching and process alignment issues throughout all phases of the product life cycle, and drive for solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for process transfer activities as part of New Product Introduction (NPI) when new technology nodes are being transferred to the fab. This position may require travel and offers the possibility of part-time telecommuting.
