About the position

The Process Maintenance Technician - Grind is responsible for executing maintenance tasks safely and efficiently at the Robinson Copper Mine. This role involves both planned and emergent maintenance, focusing on equipment reliability and continuous improvement. Technicians will work closely with operations to ensure the smooth functioning of various machinery and systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild Crushers, SAG and Ball Mills, Conveyors, Belt Feeders, Hydraulic Systems, Pumps, and Pipefitting.
• Assist Operations Technicians as required.
• Work 10-hour straight days, with potential future shifts of 12 hours rotating.
• Be available for call outs and work overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as necessary to ensure the success of KGHM.

Requirements

• Candidates must provide their own tools (a tool program is available).
• A valid Driver's License is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience in mill/industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Fabrication experience and welding qualification are strongly desired.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to prioritize, self-start, and work under limited supervision is essential.
• Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, service manuals, and parts books is necessary.
• Basic competency in personal computer operation is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs is preferred.
