About The Position

The Process Maintenance Technician - Grind is responsible for executing maintenance tasks safely and efficiently at the Robinson Copper Mine. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing various equipment, ensuring operational reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Technicians must be adaptable, willing to work overtime, and available for call-outs, including holidays and weekends.

Requirements

• Candidates must provide their own tools (a tool program is available).
• A valid Driver's License is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience in mill/industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Fabrication experience and welding qualification are strongly desired.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, service manuals, and parts books.
• Basic competency in personal computer operation and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with fabrication and welding qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild Crushers, SAG and Ball Mills, Conveyors, Belt Feeders, Hydraulic Systems, Pumps, and Pipefitting.
• Assist Operations Technicians as required.
• Demonstrate a willingness to upgrade skills and knowledge through on-the-job experience and off-the-job studies.
• Perform other duties as necessary to ensure the success of KGHM.
