About the position

The Process Mapping Analyst at First Horizon Bank plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency by partnering with business unit managers to define and visualize processes. This position involves analyzing objectives, recommending process improvements, and supporting the rollout of new products and policies while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The analyst will work independently, documenting detailed process maps and driving key initiatives to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed process documentation for operational personnel and auditors.
  • Investigate processes and identify gaps in requirements documents.
  • Drive initiatives and manage business outcomes effectively.
  • Analyze marketplace and industry trends to improve processes.
  • Design and document business processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Create maps of current and future processes and identify financial impacts of changes.
  • Manage multiple initiatives and develop detailed plans and timelines.
  • Build positive relationships with external business partners and communicate proactively with management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, data science/analytics, or management information systems.
  • Experience with mapping and improving processes.
  • Strong customer orientation and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to establish mutual understanding with team members and communicate effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with process mapping applications such as Visio or Lucid Chart.
  • Analytical skills to streamline business processes.
