About the position

The Process/Mechanical Engineer position at InSolves involves providing engineering support to Fluor Nuclear Power's SRPPF project in Greenville, SC. The role encompasses both Senior and Principal levels, focusing on the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects, particularly in the nuclear sector. Engineers will be responsible for conducting document reviews, preparing calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct construction document review as required
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate process engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects
  • Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development
  • Demonstrate design experience in mechanical systems and equipment design
  • Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations and specifications
  • Provide technical direction to assigned engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in nuclear design for Senior Engineer
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in nuclear design for Principal Engineer
  • Experience in estimating, specification preparation, and construction document preparation
  • Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards
  • Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications
  • Professional Engineer License (not required)
