Regeneron is seeking an Associate Process Data Engineer to join our Process Data Management team. This team plays a crucial role in supporting the Manufacturing and Process Sciences departments by monitoring manufacturing process performance, conducting data analyses, and utilizing quality engineering tools to ensure the production of safe and effective products. The Associate Process Data Engineer will be responsible for employing statistical process control tools to monitor manufacturing performance, identify trends, and support investigations. In this dynamic environment, Process Data Engineers have the opportunity to engage in various aspects of the process and business operations. A typical day for an Associate Process Data Engineer may involve analyzing manufacturing process data in near real-time, identifying trends, and raising any abnormalities that may arise. The role also includes creating new analytical tools or data models using historical data to predict process trends. Collaboration with other departments, such as Manufacturing and Quality Assurance, is essential to support the efficient monitoring of manufacturing processes. Additionally, the Associate Process Data Engineer will present project status, team metrics, and manufacturing data during cross-functional meetings, and will be responsible for training members of other departments on the use of software and analytical tools developed by the team. Participation in the validation and proceduralization of analytical tools built by the team is also a key aspect of this role. Additionally, candidates should have a foundational understanding of chemical and/or biological processes and controls.
