About the position

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate all production equipment related to the sauce operation, including kettles, contherms, sanitation equipment, depositor, and freezer.
- Assemble and prepare ingredients and materials for the sauce making operation.
- Weigh out ingredients to prepare for batching operation.
- Combine ingredients in liquefier and batch tanks, ensuring accurate accounting and recording of sauce production.
- Return materials and finished products to storage areas utilizing the inventory system.
- Complete line and equipment sanitation and sanitizing procedures as required.
- Utilize good manufacturing practices as required by the company.
- Work in a safe manner using proper safety equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and knowledge of battery room equipment and procedures.
- Working knowledge of sanitation requirements and procedures.
- Physical capability to perform all duties, including lifting heavy weights, standing for long periods, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to work cooperatively with a production team under limited supervision.
- Awareness of all plant safety rules/procedures and willingness to follow them.
