Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all production equipment related to the sauce operation, including kettles, contherms, sanitation equipment, depositor, and freezer.
• Assemble and prepare ingredients and materials for the sauce making operation.
• Weigh out ingredients to prepare for batching operation.
• Combine ingredients in liquefier and batch tanks.
• Complete accurate accounting and recording of sauce production.
• Return materials and finished product to storage areas utilizing the inventory system.
• Complete line and equipment sanitation and sanitizing procedures as required.
• Utilize good manufacturing practices as required by the company.
• Work in a safe manner using proper safety equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift safely and knowledge of battery room equipment and procedures.
• Working knowledge of sanitation requirements and procedures.
• Physically capable of performing all duties, including lifting heavy weights, standing for long periods, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a production team under limited supervision.
• Awareness of all plant safety rules/procedures and willingness to follow them.
