About the position
The Process Operator - Packaging at Elanco plays a crucial role in the packaging and labeling of oral solid dose products. Responsibilities
- Operate various packaging equipment, including thermoformers and cartoners.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, using data to identify root causes.
- Handle routine tasks such as driving a fork truck, loading components, and cleaning equipment and the production facility.
- Ensure production operations comply with cGMP, ISO 9000 standards, and all safety protocols.
- Follow proper documentation and verification guidelines for batch records, SOPs, and equipment.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Required Experience: Good mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Top Skills: Equipment operation and problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with thermoforming and cartoning equipment.
- Familiarity with computer systems like Veeva, Delta V, PI Data Historian, SAP, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience in packaging operations, including vacuum, labeling, and vision systems.
- Knowledge of cGMP and ISO 9000 standards.
