Process Operator

About the position

The Process Operator role at INVISTA's Victoria, TX facility involves operating equipment to safely produce chemical products while adhering to specified operating procedures and environmental compliance standards. The position requires advanced training for maintenance tasks and may involve moving between different production units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, ownership of results, and a proactive approach to improving market competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to safely produce chemical products according to specified operating procedures.
• Maintain environmental compliance and reporting standards.
• Execute maintenance tasks on area equipment to ensure reliability.
• Move between different production units as required.

Requirements

• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience in a chemical manufacturing, refinery, industrial, or agricultural environment OR an Associate's Degree or higher in Process Technology, Electronics/Instrumentation Technology, or a related field OR military experience.

Nice-to-haves

• SAP Experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a process operator.
• Electrical / Instrumentation experience in a refining or petrochemical facility.
• Maintenance mechanic experience in a refining or petrochemical facility.
• Served as a member of the emergency response team.
• Experience utilizing a variety of technology.
