About the position

The position focuses on championing process improvement activities across assigned locations, emphasizing the identification and quantification of opportunities, process and data analysis, project management, and solution implementation. The role also provides operational business intelligence support, including the design and maintenance of business intelligence tools, facilitating business reviews, and conducting ad hoc analyses for site and region leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operations to identify, quantify, and prioritize actionable areas of opportunity.
  • Develop business cases for potential projects, including problem definition, establishing baselines, KPIs, and financial impacts.
  • Engage stakeholders cross-functionally to ensure alignment and support for projects.
  • Plan and manage national and regional projects.
  • Facilitate process improvement activities and drive project results.
  • Propagate continuous improvement methodologies across the organization.
  • Engage with operations staff to determine business intelligence needs.
  • Design, enhance, and maintain reports and tools for identifying opportunity areas and root causes.
  • Assist with training initiatives for operations staff in the use of business intelligence tools.
  • Participate in facility business reviews and support finance analysts during budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or Logistics Management.
  • Minimum of three years of project management/process improvement experience, preferably in a supply chain environment.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and basic statistics, including statistical process control and hypothesis testing.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Project Management qualifications strongly desired.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with data systems/software such as MS Access, Sequel Server, Hyperion, Minitab, MS Project, and MS SharePoint.
