About the position

The Process Quality Analyst role at Grand Union involves analyzing operations to identify and prioritize areas for improvement within the supply chain environment. The position requires proficiency in data analysis and statistics, as well as project management experience to facilitate process improvement initiatives and drive results across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operations to identify, quantify, and prioritize actionable areas of opportunity.
• Develop business cases for potential projects, including problem definition, establishing baselines, KPIs, and financial impacts.
• Engage stakeholders cross-functionally to ensure alignment and support for projects.
• Plan and manage national and regional projects.
• Facilitate process improvement activities and be accountable for driving project results.
• Propagate continuous improvement methodologies across the organization.
• Engage with operations staff to determine business intelligence needs.
• Design, enhance, and maintain reports and tools for identifying opportunity areas and root causes.
• Assist with training initiatives for operations staff in the use of business intelligence tools.
• Participate in facility business reviews and support finance analysts during budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements

• Proficiency with data analysis and basic statistics required (statistical process control, hypothesis testing desired).
• Minimum of three years of project management/process improvement experience required, preferably in a supply chain environment.
• Experience in Excel is a must (5 years required).
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management qualification(s) strongly desired.
