About the position

The Process Quality Analyst at Grand Union is responsible for analyzing operations to identify and prioritize areas for process improvement within the supply chain environment. This role involves engaging with stakeholders, managing projects, and propagating continuous improvement methodologies across the organization. The analyst will also design and maintain business intelligence reports and tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operations to identify, quantify, and prioritize actionable areas of opportunity.
• Develop business cases for potential projects, including problem definition, establishing baselines, KPIs, and financial impacts.
• Engage stakeholders cross-functionally to ensure alignment and support for projects.
• Plan and manage national and regional projects.
• Facilitate process improvement activities and drive project results.
• Propagate continuous improvement methodologies across the organization.
• Engage with operations staff to determine business intelligence needs.
• Design, enhance, and maintain reports and tools for identifying opportunity areas and root causes.
• Assist with training initiatives for operations staff in the use of business intelligence tools.
• Participate in facility business reviews and support finance analysts during budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements

• Proficiency with data analysis and basic statistics required (statistical process control, hypothesis testing desired).
• Experience in Excel is a must (minimum of 5 years).
• Minimum of three years of project management/process improvement experience required, preferably in a supply chain environment.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma qualifications strongly desired.
