About the position

The Process Team Lead at Kraft Heinz in Winchester is responsible for overseeing the production of quality products within the Capri Sun department. This role involves leadership across multiple shifts, ensuring efficient operations, training personnel, and coordinating with various teams to meet production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead three multi-shift business entities and work as needed.
  • Monitor daily/weekly production of Capri Sun, KAB, and MiO.
  • Act as EQCMS representative for process work instructions.
  • Ensure personnel receive accurate training and are cross-trained on multiple process systems.
  • Coordinate on-line operations with Operators, Technicians, and Support Staff to meet production schedules.
  • Work with Logistics to ensure sufficient supplies are available.
  • Conduct process meetings to address issues and ensure coverage is completed.
  • Prepare information for and attend third level Green Room meetings.
  • Attend quarterly Coordinator meetings and review daily quality reports.
  • Communicate production, cost, and efficiency information to the team.
  • Arrange for samples to be sent to R&D for shelf life extension based on reports.
  • Ensure accurate stock rotation for raw materials and supervise quality, safety, GMP, and housekeeping issues.
  • Learn quality data sheets and take action if limits are exceeded.
  • Review reports and make necessary corrections.
  • Ensure all DMS checks and paperwork are completed accurately daily for Process.
  • Coordinate and track Vitamin E, B, and Calcium testing for all businesses.
  • Maintain Certificates of Analysis (COA's) and verify processing paperwork accuracy.
  • Investigate COGI Errors and provide direction when necessary.
  • Serve as the key contact for R&D regarding sample arrangements for the pilot plant.
  • Supervise Juice blender hours and schedule for accurate staffing.
  • Spend 80-100% of time on the floor, arranging for coverage and filling in as needed.
  • Evaluate and communicate team and individual performance to foster teamwork.
  • Work with vendors to control out-of-spec raw materials and resolve conflicts on the floor.
  • Track team members' attendance and vacation with the facilitator.
  • Follow all safety and GMP policies, identifying and resolving safety concerns immediately.

Requirements

  • Process experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with project/engineering groups for project implementation and start-up support.
  • Strong communication skills to relay production, cost, and efficiency information.
  • Knowledge of quality data sheets and ability to take appropriate action if out of control limits.
  • Familiarity with ZARPAC, RSVIEW, and/or KHS systems.
