About the position

The Process Technician at Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is responsible for operating advanced manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality plastic containers for leading consumer brands. Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor equipment and make adjustments to settings to ensure high-quality production.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Conduct quality checks to meet Plastipak customer specifications.
• Collaborate with the team to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Participate in formal and side-by-side training for skill development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician.
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical mechanics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
