About the position

The Process Technician at Hanwha Convergence USA Corp is responsible for operating various manufacturing equipment to meet production and quality standards. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting in training team members. The technician will also analyze production data and support process enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Train and comply with all Company Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide coverage for breaks, lunches as well as cover for absenteeism.
  • Possess knowledge of machine specific set-up functions and controls (PSM) to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Establish and maintain production procedures to maintain high standard of manufacturing operations, product quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot equipment within scope of knowledge to eliminate downtime.
  • Assist team members with quality, production paperwork, and work assignments as directed by Plant Management.
  • Oversee confined space entries, lock out/tag out of equipment.
  • Ensure product is properly transferred and tracked through established procedures to eliminate shipping errors.
  • Assist with training team members in various work areas.
  • Facilitate communication between team members shifts for proper shift handoff.
  • Work overtime as needed or requested assigned by management.
  • Maintain and provide all required process, maintenance and production reports.
  • Assist in 5S and Lean Initiative.
  • Work closely with Production, Process/Maintenance and Quality to ensure compliance for all process and maintenance activities.
  • Provide engineering support to Head of Department as required.
  • Define process setting and start-up.
  • Develop process and enhance working conditions of equipment and team members.
  • Design processes and automation.
  • Analyze daily and monthly production data.
  • Project management for all process enhancement and new processes.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Prior manufacturing experience of minimum of two (2) years.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.
  • Good math, written and oral skills.
  • Must be able to operate a Forklift.
