About the position

This position involves working in various roles within the Processing department at Tyson Foods, requiring physical stamina and the ability to handle meat products in a cold and wet environment. Team members will be responsible for tasks such as trimming, boning, and packaging meat products, while adhering to safety and training protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks in the Processing department, including trimming and boning meat products.
• Use powered equipment such as saws and knives safely and effectively.
• Package meat products by bagging and boxing them as required.
• Stand for 8-10 hours a day and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Complete all required training for the job and perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work in extreme cold and wet environments with temperatures ranging from 33-49 degrees.
• Availability to work A Shift from 5:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, including Saturdays and overtime.
• Proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening.
