About The Position

The Processor Trainee is responsible for sorting, processing, and stocking both softline and hardline goods at Goodwill Industries. This full-time position involves pricing and tagging items to maximize revenue from donations, while ensuring quality standards are met. Trainees will specialize in either softline or hardline goods and must complete a 6-week introductory period to qualify for advancement to a Processor position. The role is part of the Retail Team and emphasizes customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Sort, process, and stock softline and hardline goods.
• Price and tag items to achieve the highest dollar return.
• Maintain high quality in processing goods.
• Generate a minimum of $8,500 in store sales from processed items every two weeks.
• Maintain accurate and consistent pricing for selected items.
• Empty containers and separate acceptable clothing, wares, collectibles, and bin items.
• Receive cross-training as Barcoder and Donation-Utility Associate.
• Stock the sales floor as assigned.
• Keep work area neat, clean, and orderly.
• Follow customer service guidelines and provide exceptional service.
• Assist customers and donors as required.
