About the position

The Procurement Analyst role at Aston Carter involves supporting procurement activities, particularly in the planning and execution of reverse auctions. The position focuses on driving cost savings, enhancing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient procurement processes through strategic methodologies. The analyst will communicate outcomes and collaborate with procurement leadership to continuously improve auction strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support Procurement Consultants, Procurement Specialists, and Category Managers in reverse auction planning and execution.
• Assist with sourcing document development and decision-making for reverse auctions.
• Drive cost savings and enhance supplier relationships through reverse auction methodologies.
• Communicate reverse auction data and outcomes to assess cost savings and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with Procurement leadership to evaluate and improve reverse auction strategies and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field; OR 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 3 years of relevant customer service and/or procurement experience required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with business partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Maximo and Cognos preferred.
