About the position

Raytheon is seeking an entry-level Procurement Analyst to support the Computer HW/SW (CHS) Commodity Strategy & Execution team. This role involves the procurement and management of materials and services, including software, for various programs across the company. The analyst will engage in activities such as preparing RFPs/RFQs, performing price and cost analysis, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and issuance of RFPs / RFQs
• Perform price and cost analysis
• Support negotiation strategies and formal negotiations
• Place purchase orders in accordance with regulatory and corporate compliance requirements
• Nurture professional business relationships with first tier Suppliers
• Collaborate with CHS Strategy to support alignment and improvement opportunities
• Work closely with various functional groups to achieve objectives
• Maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate supplier delivery information

Requirements

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience
• Less than 2 years of experience in a procurement/subcontracts/supply chain role
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations
