About the position

The Procurement Compliance Specialist will support compliance management for acquisition and regulatory actions within the Supply Chain department. This role involves reviewing Federal procurement acquisition packages to ensure adherence to company procedures and supporting various audit requests related to compliance processes. The position offers an opportunity to work with a respected government contractor in the engineering and construction services sector.

Responsibilities

• Review Supply Chain acquisition packages for compliance with public law and company policies.
• Provide direction to the Supply Chain acquisition staff on compliance corrections.
• Evaluate recent Federal acquisition regulatory changes and generate new policies or procedures for the Supply Chain department.
• Maintain recommended procedural updates to improve processes.
• Assist with audit requests such as DCMA/DCAA, CPSR, SOX, and Internal/External audits.
• Develop training material to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk across the Supply Chain.
• Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in procurement compliance.
• Experience in the Defense/Aerospace industry with Government Compliance.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standard (CAS), DCMA, and DCAA regulations.
• Experience in creating compliant Price/Cost Analysis acquisitions is a plus.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in procurement compliance activities related to DCMA CPSR guidelines.
• Proven experience in Federal compliance reviews of various subcontract types.
