About The Position

The Procurement Coordinator at Raba Kistner Inc. is responsible for assisting with the procurement and installation functions of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE), as well as maintenance and operations equipment related to construction projects. This role involves planning, vendor management, and ensuring timely orders of goods and services while promoting positive relationships with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certification.
• 40 credited college hours or 4 years of experience in school business, governmental accounting, construction management, or a combination thereof.
• Possess a current valid state issued driver's license and meet company's auto insurability requirements.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement and installation functions of FFE, maintenance, and operations equipment.
• Participate in planning and creating FFE as needed.
• Maintain current vendor list and catalog resources.
• Prepare and finalize requisitions for timely order of goods and services.
• Identify sources to obtain competitive prices and terms.
• Maintain files on FF&E items ordered.
• Create installation directives for contract installation.
• Assist with reconciliation of vendor problems, including billing disputes and warranty service issues.
• Assist clients in accessing warranty repair services when applicable.
• Work closely with program representatives to ensure equity.
• Promote positive relationships with schools, departments, vendors, and the community.
• Monitor assembly and installation of furniture at facilities, including potential weekend work.
• Assist project managers during design, construction, and project closeout activities.
