ValidaTek is seeking a talented Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2) Application Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support an enterprising program with our Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) customer. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise with the PD2 application, which is critical for procurement processes within the Department of Defense (DoD). This role involves managing the PD2 software version vSR16 across several Joint Service Provider (JSP) server and client systems, ensuring that the application operates efficiently and securely in compliance with DoD standards. The PD2 Application SME will be responsible for maintaining a robust understanding of the Sybase ASE 15.0.3 or higher database systems, as well as the Windows environment on Server 2012 and Windows 7 and/or 10 operating systems. The candidate will work with applications and systems in clustered environments, focusing on securing operating systems to comply with Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides (DISA STIGs). Additionally, the role requires configuring and maintaining desktop firewalls to protect sensitive information and ensure operational integrity. This position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work, and requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field and at least five years of recent experience in desktop application management within DoD environments. The role is pivotal in ensuring that procurement processes are streamlined and secure, contributing to the overall mission of ValidaTek to modernize and optimize IT services for federal agencies.
