About the position

The Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2) Application Subject Matter Expert (SME) will play a crucial role in supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Service Provider (JSP) by providing technical expertise and managing the PD2 application. This position involves ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of the PD2 software across various server and client systems, while also contributing to the standardization and enhancement of IT services within the Department of Defense (DOD).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise with the Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2) application.
• Manage PD2 software vSR16 for several JSP server and client systems.
• Provide expertise in Sybase ASE 15.0.3 or higher, Windows environment on Server 2012, and Windows 7 and/or 10 operating systems.
• Assist in securing Operating Systems to comply with DISA STIGs and configuring desktop firewalls.
• Support the movement of applications to JSP IT environments to standardize hosting services.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems.
• 2 - 7 years of documented experience relevant to the position.
• Information Assurance (IA) Certification: DoDI 8570 IAT II certification.
• Recent and relevant technical certification for Computing Environment (CE).
• Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience in managing the PD2 software vSR16 for several JSP server and client systems.
• Experience with Sybase ASE 15.0.3 or higher.
• Experience with Windows Server 2012, and Windows 7 and/or 10 operating systems.
• Experience with applications/systems in clustered environments.
• Experience with securing Operating Systems to comply with DISA STIGs.
