About the position

The Inventory and Procurement Manager is a critical role responsible for overseeing the procurement process and managing inventory levels to ensure the timely availability of materials for Engineered-to-Order (ETO) projects. This position requires strong vendor management skills, the ability to analyze demand forecasts, and a focus on optimizing inventory to align with production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management and procurement functions, focusing on Engineered-to-Order projects.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and manage supply agreements.
• Optimize inventory levels to align with production schedules and project demands.
• Analyze demand forecasts, place orders, and monitor delivery timelines to prevent stockouts and delays.
• Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Track key performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement in procurement and inventory management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory and procurement management, with a focus on Engineered-to-Order (ETO) environments.
• Understanding of supply chain management, vendor negotiations, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
