About The Position

The Procurement Knowledge and Process Specialist at Dart Container is responsible for enhancing the procurement function by capturing and organizing knowledge-based services. This role focuses on refining purchasing processes to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisitions while ensuring compliance with organizational goals and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, technical or related field
• Industry procurement experience working cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and/or manufacturing
• Experience with central purchasing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
• Understanding of technology and trends in the supply chain function
• Effective problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
• Experience managing multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure procurement policies and procedures comply with organizational goals and objectives
• Develop and implement standardized training programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement procurement strategies
• Provide training and support to procurement staff on policies and procedures
• Develop and implement communication plans for changes in procurement processes
• Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Identify and propose process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
• Prepare and maintain procurement dashboards and reports to track performance.
