About the position

The Procurement & Logistics Manager at ATEME is responsible for overseeing and executing procurement and logistics operations in North America to support the company's growth. This role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely procurement, and optimizing logistics processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform procurement activities and manage logistics operations, including receiving shipments, unpacking, documenting, communicating, packing, and shipping goods.
  • Monitor suppliers' activities, update the supplier database, conduct market research to identify potential risks, and mitigate supply chain issues, quality issues, and vendor reliability concerns.
  • Negotiate with purchasers, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely and accurate procurement to meet operational needs.
  • Generate and analyze performance indicators for procurement and logistics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data integrity, manage product stocks, including replenishment and basic repairs (RMA), and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, shipping delays, and vendor performance to ensure consistent and reliable operations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between departments, aligning procurement and logistics strategies with company goals.
  • Seek opportunities for process improvement, implementing enhancements to procurement and logistics processes, and utilizing centralized management software (ERP) to streamline activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably within the tech or video delivery industries.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics operations, inventory management, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience with procurement and logistics software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
