About the position

The Procurement Manager for Asset Management at Ecolab is a leadership role responsible for overseeing indirect procurement activities related to various asset management subcategories, including fleet management and material handling equipment. This position focuses on developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize costs and improve procurement processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth objectives. Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and implement broader category sourcing strategies and savings projects for Asset Management subcategories.
  • Lead a Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process including spend analytics, market analyses, and negotiation.
  • Effectively communicate strategies, results, and metrics to leadership teams.
  • Develop contract strategies and negotiate key commercial and supply positions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends for assigned categories and provide guidance to business units.
  • Implement strategic supplier strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop business relationships with suppliers to manage performance and quality improvement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports to build high-performing teams.
  • Drive strategic projects to improve procurement processes and efficiencies.
  • Manage procurement work streams associated with growth strategies and acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, marketing, RDE, finance, or supply chain.
  • Ability to handle a broad range of responsibilities through time management and prioritization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with asset/fleet management (light fleet, heavy fleet, MHE, and reusable totes).
  • Experience with structuring and leading complex negotiations with suppliers.
  • Solid analytical skills and 5+ years of work experience in a business environment.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skills.
