About the position

The Procurement Manager for Business Operations at Clorox will lead procurement strategies across the Cleaning brands, focusing on cost savings, supplier resiliency, innovation, and sustainability. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing supplier performance, and ensuring effective business continuity through strategic action plans. The manager will also drive continuous improvement initiatives and act as a liaison between procurement and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and drive procurement strategies across Cleaning brands.
  • Own the identification and execution of projects to improve value delivery across the spend portfolio.
  • Manage supplier performance, including onboarding and evaluating suppliers based on KPIs.
  • Co-own ongoing supplier governance and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with Category Managers.
  • Develop action plans to address short- and medium-term issues related to Services and Quality Performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a bridge between procurement and business to ensure alignment with category strategies.
  • Support actions to address P2P issues, such as payments and invoices.
  • Develop and expand functional skills using procurement tools and techniques.
  • Build internal and external networks for career growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in business, science, engineering, or supply chain management.
  • 6+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Ability to drive change and improve performance through teamwork.
  • Knowledge of Project Management, Sourcing/Procurement tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience with RFP, commodity hedging, Cost Models, and Negotiations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with management at all levels.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Chemicals/Chemical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with negotiation and collaboration activities across the Spend portfolio.
