About the position

The Procurement Manager for Business Operations at Clorox will lead procurement strategies for the Cleaning brands, focusing on cost savings, supplier resiliency, innovation, and sustainability. This role involves collaboration across various teams to ensure effective procurement practices and continuous improvement in supplier performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and drive procurement strategies across Cleaning brands.
  • Own the identification and execution of projects to improve value delivery across the spend portfolio.
  • Manage supplier performance, including onboarding and evaluating suppliers based on KPIs.
  • Co-own supplier governance and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with Category Managers.
  • Develop action plans to address issues related to Services and Quality Performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between procurement and business to align category strategies with business needs.
  • Support actions to resolve P2P issues, such as payments and invoices.
  • Develop and expand functional skills using procurement tools and techniques.
  • Build internal and external networks for career growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in business, science, engineering, or supply chain management.
  • 6+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Ability to drive change and improve performance through teamwork.
  • Knowledge of Project Management and Sourcing/Procurement tools.
  • Experience with RFPs, commodity hedging, and cost models.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with management at all levels.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Chemicals/Chemical Engineering.
