About the position

Accenture is seeking a Procurement Operations Solution Architect Senior Manager - Supply Chain to design and implement complex solutions that optimize supply chain operations for clients. This pivotal role involves collaborating with strategic partners and internal teams to deliver customized BPO solutions, interpreting client requirements, and ensuring effective transition to delivery organizations. The position is critical in managing relationships with senior client buyers and operating groups, driving sign-offs, and aligning solutions with client business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end solutions for large-scale supply chain BPO deals, focusing on planning, forecasting, order management, and inventory optimization.
  • Manage relationships with Operating Group, senior client buyers, and functional owners for the designated solution.
  • Drive necessary sign-offs of the solution with input from Operating Groups on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget, and preferences.
  • Manage the sales team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) during the sales process and ensure communication with delivery organizations.
  • Collaborate with Legal & Commercial and Corporate Transaction Services (CTS) to ensure use of standards in the solution.
  • Identify leadership contacts for service transition and operations, ensuring appropriate solution plan transition for closed deals.
  • Interface with delivery organizations to ensure effective transition and shape services based on clear solution assumptions.
  • Prepare the BD spend estimate, schedule, work plan, and resource/sourcing plan.
  • Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to supply chain management and BPO.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar role within the supply chain, procurement or BPO domain.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement As-A-Service.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development, sales strategy, and/or proposal development roles.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Outsourcing, Solution Planning/Deal Shaping.
