About the position

The Procurement Processes and Tools Associate at Repsol will support users in procurement and related areas, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and tools. This role acts as a liaison between local users in Houston and procurement teams in the USA and Madrid, contributing to the growth of Repsol's Renewables organization in the USA. The position is hybrid, requiring three days in the office and two days from home.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy the Procurement procedures ensuring alignment with Central GBC Procurement Norms.
  • Conduct training for new users and address any inquiries.
  • Identify improvements and help streamline procurement processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback and updates.
  • Develop relationships with procurement and other departments to ensure proper tool usage and compliance with procurement processes.
  • Download contracts in SAP once approved and assist the procurement team during the contract lifecycle.
  • Train users in SAP for order creation and service acceptance, and help resolve incidents.
  • Collaborate in the local development of tools and systems associated with the P2P process.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation of processes and workflows.
  • Manage and track suppliers' prequalification platform for the US.
  • Foster supplier evaluation through quality assessments and audits.
  • Manage USA KPIs to analyze procurement activity and report on objectives versus goals.
  • Extract data from procurement systems, ensuring quality and suggesting improvements in procedures and tools.
  • Follow up on the evolution of implemented initiatives and their impact over time.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the USA for any employer without sponsorship.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business analytics, supply chain, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in procurement or business operations, including contract management and cost control.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Competency in analytical problem solving, strong communication, customer/partner relationships, and technology expertise.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP - MM.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Exemplary standards of integrity, safety, ethics, quality, and productivity.
