About the position
Egan Company is seeking a qualified Procurement Specialist within the Electrical group to support long-term business growth with new and existing customers across various markets. The role focuses on material procurement and management, supplier communication, and process improvement, requiring strong analytical and organizational skills to thrive in a dynamic electrical contracting environment.
Responsibilities
- Purchase and expedite materials for projects and products to internal customers.
- Assist project managers and field leaders with material selection and supplier sourcing.
- Manage material shortages and collaborate with teams to support business needs.
- Maintain supplier relationships and assist with vendor agreements and pricing records.
- Monitor manufacturer bulletins and disseminate information to teams.
- Assist with the daily flow of material orders and provide purchase order assistance.
- Participate in supporting lean construction initiatives related to purchasing.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years within the electrical construction or distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of materials and products used in the electrical construction industry.
- Proficiency in using Google Suite, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a rapid and detail-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with Remarcable procurement software or other procurement software.
