About the position

The Procurement Specialist (Fleet & Equipment) at SOFT, Inc. is responsible for enhancing supply chain efficiencies and managing procurement processes related to fleet and equipment. This role involves collaboration with various departments to implement improvements, negotiate contracts, and analyze inventory flows, all while contributing to the transformation of the Global Procurement organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other procurement departments to implement Fleet, Equipment, and parts inventory improvements.
• Manage and maintain an accurate directory of material storage warehouses, sites, and yards.
• Negotiate long-term contracts with Fleet, Equipment, and Inventory suppliers for warehousing and other services.
• Work with external parties to analyze current cooperation and negotiate future agreements.
• Write and maintain documentation for Fleet, Equipment, and Inventory procedures or instructions.
• Responsible for transport logistics; warehousing responsibilities may be added in the future.
• Analyze current Fleet, Equipment, and Inventory flows to detect bottlenecks and develop optimization proposals.
• Evaluate Fleet, Equipment, and Inventory service providers based on service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure profitability and service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S) in engineering, supply chain, finance, business management, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in communication across a multi-national and matrixed organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Automotive Garage Management, Business Consulting, Fleet Management, or Inventory Management.
