About the position

The Procurement Sr Analyst position at CBRE is focused on crafting, analyzing, and providing complex reports related to the sourcing, contracting, management, and performance of suppliers and vendors. This remote role requires a strong analytical background and the ability to maintain data integrity while supporting global sourcing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, generates, reviews and implements complex reports to support account, client, and global sourcing requirements.
  • Maintains data integrity of databases and makes changes to improve accuracy, usefulness, and access.
  • Collects and rationalizes complex data from multiple sources to create complete analyses and recommendations.
  • Coordinates with the global sourcing team and peers to aggregate data and align reporting.
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.
  • Acts as project lead, including supervisory and/or managerial activities, in coordinating the procurement team to complete specified projects efficiently.
  • Prepares and presents results of analysis and reports along with their relative impacts to the business to all levels of management.
  • Develops scenario planning tools/models and prepares forecasts while analyzing trends in general business conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  • Ability to efficiently present information.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
  • Conducts advanced financial analysis.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in various situations.
  • Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Proven understanding of database design and relational database principles and practices.
  • Understanding of administration of databases in software development.
