About the position
The Produce Associate Team Leader assists the Team Leader in managing daily operations to ensure profitability, expense control, and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on developing a creative store layout and product merchandising to enhance sales and customer engagement while leading and developing team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily operations to ensure profitability, expense control, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain a creative store layout and product merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Work with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets to optimize store performance.
- Lead and develop Team Members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage inventory and vendor relationships to maintain high-quality products and services.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
- 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and product knowledge to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills to lead and develop Team Members.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance and customer safety.
- Proficient mathematical skills to assess financial performance, monitor profitability, and manage inventory.
