About The Position

As a part of our produce team at Sam's Club, you'll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness, and freshness. You will be in the front-lines of customer service - your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member's shopping experience. This position involves maintaining a positive attitude, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a clean and organized area for produce.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Passion for and experience with produce
• Ability to keep member satisfaction as a top priority
• Comfortable with change and able to adapt quickly
• Effective communication skills and ability to positively influence team members
• Ability to lead by example

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
• Providing exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Receiving and stocking merchandise in an organized manner
• Maintaining inventory to avoid out of stock and over-stock products
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating other associates
• Understanding processes related to quality of various types of produce
• Preparing products according to established standards
• Utilizing digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
• Driving the performance of the area and ensuring quality standards
• Being an advocate for the department and modeling high-quality service
