About The Position

As a part of our produce team at Sam's Club, you'll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness, and freshness. You will be in the front-lines of customer service - your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member's shopping experience. You will maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members while providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area, receiving and stocking merchandise, and ensuring inventory levels are managed effectively.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for and experience with produce.
• Ability to keep member satisfaction as a top priority.
• Comfortable with change and able to adapt to different work scenarios.
• Effective communication skills and ability to positively influence team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the products and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Providing exceptional customer service to members across the club.
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Receiving and stocking merchandise in an organized manner.
• Maintaining inventory to prevent out of stock and over-stock products.
• Understanding processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce.
• Preparing products according to established standards and maintaining product safety.
• Utilizing digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
• Driving the performance of the area and ensuring quality and date control standards.
• Being an advocate for the department and modeling high-quality service.
