About the position
Coborn's, Inc. is seeking a friendly and dependable individual to join our team as a Produce Clerk I in our produce department. This role is essential in ensuring that our produce section is well-stocked with fresh and high-quality products, creating an appealing shopping experience for our guests. The Produce Clerk will be responsible for various tasks including receiving and inspecting produce for quality and freshness, stocking shelves, and building attractive displays. Additionally, the clerk will engage with guests by offering freshly prepared product samples and utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintaining cleanliness in the department and adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations is also a critical part of this position. As a Produce Clerk, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and friendly atmosphere that attracts guests to our produce department. Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and build displays in the produce department.
- Cull and rotate products to ensure high quality and freshness.
- Receive and inspect produce for quality before stocking.
- Clean the produce department and equipment regularly.
- Engage with guests by offering product samples and suggestive selling.
- Create a fun and friendly atmosphere to attract guests.
- Understand and comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
