About the position

The Produce Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the presentation and quality of fresh produce. This part-time position involves collaborating with a team to maintain high standards in product handling, merchandising, and customer interaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock the Produce department, ensuring proper presentation, facing, filling, and organization of all product items.
• Maintain product knowledge and preparation to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Ensure proper stocking and rotation of merchandise, including trimming, watering, and merchandising of products.
• Control inventory to maximize product freshness and availability.
• Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Possess a positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Ability to perform repetitious activities and multi-task effectively.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) throughout the workday.
