About the position

Responsibilities
- Stock and maintain inventory of fresh produce.
- Unload trucks and unpack boxes and crates.
- Code date and price mark produce items.
- Remove expired, damaged, or spoiled produce.
- Ensure sufficient inventory is available at all times.
- Interact with customers, associates, and vendors with a positive attitude.
- Monitor product quality and cull as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the produce area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery produce department is required.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary.
- Must pass a drug and background check.
Nice-to-haves
- Flexible schedule preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
