About the position
The Produce Clerk at Petaluma Market is responsible for the proper stocking and rotation of merchandise in the produce and floral department. This includes trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to ensure fresh, high-quality offerings. The clerk is also responsible for proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability. Additionally, they will answer questions from customers about produce and floral products and help increase sales by handing out food samples and recommending additional items to customers.

Requirements
- Must be reliable and honest
- Possess integrity and professionalism
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level
- Must be 18 years or older
Nice-to-haves
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (or still pursuing education)
- Prior experience working in produce department
