Responsibilities

• Sets up and maintains the condition of the produce department according to company standards.
• Provides friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Ensures product quality and selection by performing visual inspections and proper handling.
• Performs receiving duties including verifying orders against invoices and reporting shortages.
• Maintains cleanliness and eye-appeal of the work area, storage area, and selling floor.
• Builds produce displays and rotates stock to minimize damage and spoilage.
• Ensures proper pricing and signing of products.
• Uses related equipment such as box cutters, hand trucks, and pallet jacks safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, divide, and multiply) and compute weights and measures.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification (Per State Laws) is required.
• Ability to work varied shifts between 4:00 am and 11:00 pm, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to reach, lift, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk rapidly, bend, twist, and turn frequently.
