About the position

Are you looking for a new sales opportunity in the fresh produce industry? If you are a sales pro with experience in fresh fruit, and sales to national customers, read on. This position will drive growth in the dynamic world of fresh fruit produce. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable in Grapes or Citrus and will take charge of expanding our relationships with customers nationwide while boosting our global exports business. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of strategic growth, working closely with our Sales leadership to achieve sales goals and enhance profitability across our accounts. You'll spearhead new business development efforts both domestically and internationally, focusing on expanding our customer base and growing our exports.

Responsibilities

  • Secure and grow distribution for Dole Diversified products, ramping up sales for both current and new accounts.
  • Manage daily interactions with customers, ensuring seamless product flow and exceeding budgeted sales goals.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to craft and execute distribution strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring our sales support systems are optimized for business retention and accountability.
  • Forge strong connections with decision-makers to ensure continued business and loyalty.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in sales, ideally in produce or consumer packaged goods.
  • Proven problem-solving and negotiation prowess.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in fresh produce: 5 years (Preferred)
