About the position

The Producer Appointment and Licensing Coordinator at HDI Global Insurance Company is responsible for managing the onboarding and licensing processes for producers and adjusters within the property and casualty insurance sector. This role serves as the primary contact for producer management, ensuring compliance with state regulations and facilitating effective communication between various departments. The coordinator will also oversee the company's producer management vendor tool and contribute to improving business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agency agreements, onboarding, and appointments for external producers and Underwriting Teams.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding appointment statuses and procedures.
  • Assist in the onboarding and licensing of newly hired claim adjusters and conduct follow-up on outstanding items to ensure compliance.
  • Manage producer appointments, terminations, partner requests, company and state profiles, and data issues in the producer management and company tools.
  • Use independent judgment to recommend viable solutions and alternatives to improve current business processes, including development of job aids and training.
  • Evaluate, test, and manage internal system controls and business rules related to producer appointments in coordination with Business Solutions Team and developers.
  • Aid in interpreting state regulations and requirements.
  • Compile and submit regular reports and metrics on producer related data.
  • Maintain communication and correspondence with departments of insurance as needed.
  • Serve as administrator for the company's producer management tool.
  • Support the onboarding of related third parties, system setup, and training.
  • Calculate and process invoice payments through the vendor payment system.
  • Other tasks and duties as required by the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but a combination of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and relevant experience will also be considered in place of a degree.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
