About the position

The Product Analyst role at Seagate Technology is an entry-level position within the Products & Markets organization, focusing on HDD product management. The role involves advocating for product portfolios, analyzing market data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product delivery and innovation. The analyst will support product launches, manage product life cycles, and develop communication materials to empower customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the product portfolio by pitching product requirements and managing material through end-of-life.
• Analyze market data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
• Develop communications and training materials for customer-facing teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive change through effective communication.
• Collaborate with various departments worldwide to gain insights and skills from marketing, sales, and R&D.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or MBA with some technology industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to influence stakeholders and present product updates.

• Experience in the technology industry or familiarity with hard drive technology and storage systems.
