The Business Analyst will be part of the Business Acceleration team at Credit Tech Strategy. This team aims to deliver tactical solutions to business requirements with shorter turnaround times, while aligning with the larger strategic goals of the department and the firm. The role is crucial in ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders at Carlyle capture value from the technologies within the Global Credit segment, particularly in supporting front, middle, and back-office capabilities. The position requires close collaboration with Global Credit business users and segment technology resources to bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, especially in relation to finance activities. In this role, the Business Analyst will collaborate with various internal and external groups to analyze and document business requirements, software features, platform capabilities, and processes. The analyst will perform detailed financial data analysis and collate requirements according to established standards, which includes creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and maintaining business context and processes. The analyst will also provide user support to the Business Acceleration Team, Fund Management, Investor Relations, Global Technology Teams, and other departments as needed. The responsibilities extend to receiving requirements for new functionalities from users, helping prioritize these with technical teams, and utilizing existing functionalities to support requests. The analyst will draft requirements for unmet needs, work with technical teams to prioritize and test new requirements, and coordinate user testing for new functionalities. Regular meetings with business user groups will be essential to understand pain points and provide recommendations for resolution. The role also involves providing training to power users for new enhancements and supporting efforts to streamline and standardize key business processes through automation or eliminating redundancies. The Business Analyst will keep projects on track and provide tactical solutions to ensure progress, as well as assist in onboarding and knowledge transfer for new hires in the team.
