About the position

This position will play a critical role in driving the 12-18 months roadmap for our guest-facing digital solutions on the premises of the restaurant including Drive-thru, Curbside, and Dine-in experiences. The Product Analyst will be responsible for intaking and prioritizing consumer and business opportunities, defining core business requirements, and collaborating on the delivery of technology solutions from engineering and technology partners or vendors. The PA works closely with a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to deliver new features and improve existing ones. They will regularly review the competitive landscape and business trends for opportunities. The job involves finding new ideas, helping to make the product strategy and vision, and ensuring that the backlog is kept for our delivery partners by working with stakeholders to collect and understand feature requirements. In our fast-paced environment, we often must switch gears at a moment's notice and take effective action without having a complete picture. The Product Analyst will proficiently manage detailed processes and projects to ensure product deliverables create value for Inspire Brands while also improving the Guest Experience. This position sits within our Atlanta Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Define and create detailed product requirements, engaging with cross functional teams (including Engineering, Product Management, Solutions Architecture, Tech Ops, Finance, Legal, and Brand teams) as needed.
  • Work closely with delivery partners, actively participating in scrum ceremonies such as stand-up, continuous planning, demo, and retro as well as in lab IT collaboration.
  • Help in managing product backlogs and boards in JIRA from intake to delivery.
  • Assist in discovery of opportunities to create and improve technology products to improve the guest experience or internal operations.
  • Report on the status of committed work during program increments (PI).
  • Update on OKRs and KPIs to continuously evaluate product effectiveness and propose optimizations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 Year Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience of product management practices, agile methodologies, and test-driven development experience.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in solving customer-facing digital and/or on-prem experience opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with both business and IT to accomplish project objectives.
  • A proven track record of driving digital and/or on-prem innovation and delivering outperformance to stated business goals.
  • Deep knowledge of consumer facing industries (restaurants, retail, hospitality) and digital integrated technologies (Web/Mobile, POS Software/Hardware, AI/ML, Geofencing).
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to lead data-driven discussions to drive alignment around prioritization and impact.
  • Ability to translate data-driven insights, business intent, customer needs, and/or technical direction into clear, concise, well-documented product requirements.
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate clearly and effectively with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly proficient in collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical delivery partners.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating and resolving complex issues.
  • Energetic self-starter who thrives in situations with ambiguity.
  • Strong project/workflow management, prioritization, and negotiating skills.
  • Knowledge of the range of activities related to the product development lifecycle (e.g. opportunity identification, product discovery, project execution, and post launch performance measurement and management).
  • Knowledge of agile delivery principles and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and deliver results; conscientious about meeting project deadlines.
