About the position

The Product Analyst I position at Utica National Insurance Group is designed for a motivated and analytical individual who will support the profit and growth of Personal Lines Products. This role involves analyzing the company's book of business, conducting competitive research, and assisting with product and rate revisions. The analyst will work closely with the Product Manager and senior management to ensure that the products remain competitive in a changing market.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for routine reporting and ad-hoc requests
• Assists with complex data pulls in SAS or complex formulas in Excel
• Assists with extricating and analyzing data to support product and rate revisions
• Compiles P&C presentation materials
• Performs competitive research
• Assists with project tasks as assigned
• Develops coverage specifications and coverage forms
• Assists with filings for product revisions
• Performs post-launch rate change validation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, actuarial science, economics or related analytical field preferred
• Less than 3 years of experience preferred
